Hmm, tough one. Beach is a favorite, since it's my favorite place, but I love to read anywhere. Especially if I have to wait!

Usually I am in my recliner with 2 of the 3 pups in my lap. Either there, or on the balcony. This being Portland, it is a matter of if it isn't raining. :D

At night, of course, in bed. I've always read before going to sleep! I cant read on the beach or where theres a lot of sunlight as my eyes close as they are hit with the sun light - been that way since childhood too!

I've got to say...curled up in bed. However, the couch, a chair or anything will do really!

I love to read on airplanes too, there's something about having NOTHING else to do but read that's just awesome. lol

Well, now. THERE"S a question! Winter was always my favorite reading time, the time when you are supposedly curled up in your favorite chair with a very spoiled pet on your lap, bundled in a soft cashmere afghan in front of a roaring fire, a cup of something hot and delicious by your side...HUH! My house is so full right now that my favorite chair has been taken over by a rear that is certainly not mine; the fireplace is never lit (who has time?), and that hot, soothing beverage that is meant to be savored is usually gulped down lukewarm, while I'm in the midst of doing something else! (Still have the spoiled pet, though; Sunny is a female Terri-Poo who believes she is a much bigger, ferocious dog.)
Now that spring has officially sprung, I find myself longing for my chair on the back deck, preferably under the lilac tree, or my swing, where I can rock the day away with any number of terrific books, and lose myself in a really good story. Hmmm...warm, silky air carressing your skin, the smell of roses and freshly mowed grass, hummingbirds diving in for their sugar high...the sun turning your toes a lovely warm brown...WAIT! That means I need a pedicure! My neglected toenails are curling in embarrassment as I write this! And since I live in the Maritimes, we are getting those friggin' April showers...soon, though.

Ooooo me too. I have a brother and sister pair of Russian Blues. The male has such yummy fangs! They hang just over his bottom lip, he looks so cute!
