The Blood Bank

We'd like to make a withdrawal

I posted this in the forum but I noticed it is not as busy as the groups so I will try it here.

What books have made you cry? Was it just a sniffle with a lonely tear or did you bawl like a big baby?

My Answer:

There have been alot that I have had watery eyes or a single tear escape but this are some of the ones that I actually cried, like close to hysterical.

New Moon .... My heart broke along with Bella's
Succubus Heat, Richelle Mead .... There is a reference to a song by Kate Bush, it is also redone by Placebo and now every time I hear it I think about Seth.
For a Few Demons More, Kim Harrison ... If you have read it then you know what I am talking about. I actually mourned for a day. WHY?
Halfway to the Grave, Jeaniene Frost ... I really thought it was going to end badly.

I know there is another one but I am having a blank moment.

I know what you mean about For a Few Demons More, I cry everytime I reread that book. I actually get a little teary whenever a certain person is mentioned, reading White Witch Black Curse was like reliving it all over.
I will admit I full on cried at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, "Harry Potter" I know, but they are good and I can't believe some of the people she killed off!
I got teary while reading Iron Kissed by Patricia Briggs. Poor Ben.
I totally forgot about HP. I cried with the Deathly Hallows but I also cried at the end of Half Blood Prince when a certian someone dies. :(

Ok mine is way different !!!:) I was at the end of The Vampire's Seduction by Raven Hart(which I might add is a fantastic series!) When Thomas tells Jack he does love him and that everything will be alright!
I cried in New Moon too! I was so said, plus it was already a depressing week for me when I read that, so I cried and cried. I cried in HP both in the Deathly Hallows and Half Blood Prince. Actually I cry when I read a lot of books lol. I think it's 'cause I don't usually cry so that is when I let out my emotions... I know there's some other book that makes me cry every time I read it...I just can't think of what it is..
I think I cried a river while reading New Moon! I'm trying to think of others that got the best of my tear ducts....... I guess I'll have to reminisce and come back with some others!
I cried in New Moon and Breaking Dawn, where they were saying their good byes.... I also cried at the end of Vampire Academy Shadow Kissed....I cried in kissed by an Angel...
I cried for Acheron and for Kisten in the Hollows series. I read Donna Boyd's The Passion and The Promise and ran out of tissue.
Yes definitely New Moon!! It was like I could feel her pain. Stephenie Meyer is good...lol..Oh yeah Half Blood Prince as well...I know this is not paranormal or anything but Anything Jodi Picoult does prepare to cry!!!!
There were a couple of parts in Vampire Academy. Er, I think it was Frostbite with what happened to her friend...I'm blanking on his name. The one she tried to date but it didn't work out. And then again at the end of Shadowkiss.

And New Moon for sure.
New Moon really had me bawling! I cried so hard that I had to put the book down. I cried for like an hour, and then I cried at other parts of the book too. The whole thing just made me cry.
A Lick of Frost by Laurell K. Hamilton made me cry too cuz of what happened to my favorite character. I don't want to go into details because I don't want to spoil it for other readers.
I know there's others too, but I'm having a blank moment right now too.
