I had a book pile by my bed. Then my beagle had puppies and we kept one. It decided that book covers was it's favorite snack. So now I have a pile on my desk lol

I just bought Kitty and the Midnight Hour:o) I thought it was time to start reading this series because I hear some many great things. I'm really also interested in her Ya series Voices of Dragons to come out. Yay!

LOL, thanks I'd love to mentor someone. I'm learning from the best. Diana and I have a deal worked out, I train her and she helps me with my writing. It's a win-win!

My novel is an urban fantasy, I'll message you with my logline, so as not to bore everyone with my work in progress! I'm working on a third draft, which has become a really BIG overhaul. Lots of work left to do...

Meanwhile, back to the main topic, Carrie Vaughn is AWESOME! LOL

YES you have to read Mark of the Demon! Diana and Carrie are both great, I somehow got EXTREMELY lucky to have Diana Rowland mentoring me on my novel. How terrific is that? Not only that, but she's been mentoring me on how to "work" the conventions, how to pitch my novel and myself..she's AMAZING. (hmm, I'm in a capitalization mood today apparently) Read her book NOW! LOL

I've been a HUGE fan of Carrie's for a couple years now and I'm excited to see a new YA series from her. Should be interesting because I'm a die hard Kitty fan but I've read some of her other work and she is totally entertaining! Looking forward to it!
