First part of Midnight Reflections

Here is the first part of Chapter One of Midnight Reflections.

Chapter One
Lyle Brooks liked jogging late at night when everyone else was home watching TV or getting ready for bed. It was so much quieter than during the day and he found it peaceful. Tonight, the only sound to break the silence was the rhythmic noise of his feet pounding on the stone path. The air seemed fresher, crisper in the darkness, and it always relaxed him. Even after the most stressful of days, jogging still managed to c… Continue

Bitten by Books reviewed Midnight Reflections!

Bitten by Books has published a review of my book, Midnight Reflections. I got 5 out of 5 Tombstones!

They say "Katrina Michaels’ novel Midnight Reflections is a wonderfully written murder mystery. The characters are strong and unique. The suspense entrances the reader’s attention. Each chapter offers new twists and surprises. I enjoyed the building suspense and drawn theories throughout. The author does not disappoint the reader!"

I am reading Kelley Armstrong's newest book, Frostbitten, and listening to Jim Butcher's Book 1 of The Codex Alera, Furies of Caulderon. I started listening to books in the car when I am driving. Much better than talk radio.

Sorry for the delay in accepting the request! I didn't realize it was waiting.

I just would have been way too intimidated by someone who was published. Afraid that my grammar or spelling would not have been good enough. I had a real hard time talking with JoLynne Valerie in the beginning as well. That was a rather rude comment I made, and I apologize for that.

Hi Katrina. I just wanted to say thanks for adding me as a friend. I apologize but I had no idea that you were an author or I probably wouldn't have sent you the invite, but I've learned that everyone is an equal here so I'm very glad I did. I had the opportunity to read your review earlier, and your book sounds wonderful. I can't wait until I can get a copy to read myself. Meanwhile, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and a wicked Halloween. Best wishes, Steve Opperman

Thank you for the warm welcome! A Tale For All Seasons is a book containing four novellas, one for each season. The characters are "ordinary" every day people... until the Paranormal comes to call in their lives. Then, things get interesting. :) Here's a banner to explain it all.

I hope this week isn't as crazy for you!
