M. R. Sellars - Paranormal Thriller Author, Observational Humorist, and Card Carrying Curmudgeon

It's a good bet you are asking yourself the above question right about now. Another odds on favorite is that you are probably wondering why I sent you a friend request. I mean, you don't know me, I don't know you, why do such a thing? Well, it's like this - Yes, I am "marketing" myself and my books. However, I am not a hard sell, spam sort of marketer so you have nothing to worry about. The only way you will end up receiving email or any such from me would be if you initiate it and I respond. Same goes for comments. The most you are likely to ever see will probably be an announcement or two, and maybe a book giveaway contest, all of which will be posted in the appropriate public forums of this group.

So, why then did I send you a friend request? Simple. If you've never heard of me, or my books, well, now you have. They may not be your preferred sort of reading, and if that's the case, all good. I harbor no illusions that what I write will appeal to everyone. But, the point is, I am treating this like an event at a bookstore - I cannot simply sit behind a table and wait for you to wander by and ask me where the restroom is.

Therefore, I have now introduced myself and pointed you in the direction of my work. (I have no clue where the restroom is in this place)...So, if you have any questions, feel free to ask, if not, no biggie and I hope you find what you are after and have a wonderful day. :-)

PS. If you decline a friend request from me and then get another one, it's not because I'm trying to be pushy. I just don't always remember if I've sent the request already or not. I apologize for any annoyance that may cause...

M. R. SELLARS' OFFICIAL BIO: An active member of the HWA (Horror Writers Association), M. R. Sellars is a relatively unassuming homebody who considers himself just a “guy with a lot of nightmares and a word processing program.” His first full-length novel, Harm None, hit bookstore shelves in 2000 and he hasn’t stopped writing since. He says that the biggest adjustment he has had to make with his writing career is coping with the time spent away from his family while traveling on promotional tours.
