World Fantasy Convention

I haven't done a BBBB (bitten by books blog) in ages, but at least now I have something interesting to say!!

Last weekend I went to San Jose to the World Fantasy Convention and it's taken me four days to recover. That just about explains it, doesn't it?!!

I had an amazing time, learned lots, met incredible people, and even got to do a reading of my short story coming out in Evolve next year at the Edge Publishing party. I will be doing a write up for Adventures in SciFi Publishing about the ex… Continue

Happy Post

I just wanted to post a happy blog, since my last one was about how horrible I felt because I'd lost a big chunk of writing... (which, by the way happened AGAIN two days later...I've figured out how to NOT have that happen on my NEO keyboard now, so I should be all good.)

So, I just wanted to blog that life is good, no complaints! Clients are all on track and happy (well, not happy, they do have to diet for their contests...lol) and my writing is going really great. I am LOVING this site, thank… Continue

Writing file lost

I am feeling horribly sorry for myself at the moment-I just lost my latest chapter while trying to move it to a new file on my Neo keyboard. It's gone-not recoverable, I have tried everything.

I was on chapter eighteen, 1700 words-GONE!

So now, after shedding some tears (oh there were tears) I am curled up with a blanket and my cat, typing on my iPod touch and wondering how I am going to get myself to rewrite those words..and I have no answer! Cafeine, wine, what?! LOL

I just really needed to… Continue

Hello, another Canadian! I see you've read Kim Harrison's The Hollow's series, or at least a few books from it and I have to say I loved that whole series. It's one of my favorites so far. I love her writing and I'm so attached to every character! Who's your favorite character? haha!

Ohh, Mercy! That is the series! Alpha and Omega is an offshoot of that series so it all flows together! It is a really good series! I hope you enjoy it!
