I know...I know...I've been AWOL a while. Turns out I've had "golfer's elbow" since November...only see, it's also typer's elbow :( I have to minimize my time at the keyboard, which sucks!
I'm 45M into Blood Will Tell and apparently I'm going to see the potential agent at the next THREE conventions I'm going to be at...how the heck am I going to get something done in time to make a difference?! Have to try, which means...yeah...more going AWOL!
I'll keep you guys…

The lights from the Seven Eleven reflected in puddles of murky rainwater. At eleven o’clock at night, the parking area was deserted. Kevin stepped inside the store in search of something to eat while I waited in the car for him.
My father's funeral had been that morning, and Kevin thought a night out would be the best way to take my mind off how he'd died. It hadn't helped. All I could think about was that I hadn't been able to say good-bye or tell him that I loved him. I…

Well, we have been having a nice bit of nasty weather lately and I haven't left the house for days. My daughter has been sick so I ended up taking family leave for Friday and Saturday night. Of course, they were 2 blustery days and nights.
Last night I decided that I was going to work and I can tell you big mistake. I have
NEVER had such a stressful drive into work
as last night, no let let scratch that, EVER. OMG, by the time I got to work I was shaking like a leaf and…

If you've read any of my mystery series, you know Sidra Smart is the 50 year old protagonist hell bent on creating her life all over again after divorcing from quarter-century marriage to a preacher. She NEVER expected to inherit a detective agency. But she did.
Now that she's found her voice, she ordered her own blog. Check it out and read short stories about characters in the series, ask Sidra questions, or tell her what you like about her and what you don't like about her. She'll…

Me being the weird music lover I am, I love making playlists. My friend gave me the challenge of making one for BDB. I really liked it, because looking through my songs was just plain awesome. I don't really know what else to say, seeing as I'm just writing down a playlist, but there we go.
1. Dolphin's Cry-Live. Wrath when he meets Beth and is amazed with her. It also talks about rebirth, which is kind of sappy when you think about it, but then again, Wrath didn't really give a s***…

You know- the cold that makes your fangs ache! It's pretty here, though- the sun just came out. I don't like to drive when it's sunny in the winter- you can't pack your sunglasses away!! I would love to take pictures- but it kills the batteries in my camera! Hope you all are snuggling up with your favorite book and a cup of hot chocoblood (LOL-a little kerrylynn sparks humor!)
All the little birdies are snuggled in puffed out within the pine tree branches. I wonder if they get cold feet?…

This Sunday, January the 18th, I will be doing a chat at The Haunt. This is an all day event, so I will be dropping in periodically to chat, take reader questions, post an excerpt or two. You never know what might happen or who might happen by. (Hint: There's a certain dark angel who likes to hijack my interviews from time to time, so you might want to be on the lookout for him.)
At the end of the day, there might even be a giveaway of my debut novel, Nora's Soul. You never know…

Today I'm at Shooting Stars Mag, talking about my book, the inspiration for the fabulous cover (thank you,. Stacy!), and what song I feel most accurately captures the essence of Nora's Soul. Come check out the video of the song, which, in an odd twist, portrays the theme of Nora's Soul.
